Farmers' Market Season Opens!

April 09, 2019

The Dane County Farmers' Market starts on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 6:15am to 1:45pm for the 2019 outdoor season!

The beautiful Capitol Square in downtown Madison provides a unique setting for the largest producer-only farmers’ market in the nation. Enjoy fresh vegetables, fruit, herbs, cheese, meat, poultry, honey, maple syrup, nuts, jelly, eggs, candy, baked goods, plants, fresh flowers, and more.

Get to know your favorite farmers, bakers, and makers. Buy your weekly groceries. Enjoy the Saturday ritual of meeting your friends on the Square. Celebrate Wisconsin goodness!

The Wednesday Market opens on Wednesday, April 17 from 8:30 am to 1:45 pm. It’s located on the 200 block of MLK, Jr. Blvd. between the Capitol and the Monona Terrace. Buy groceries for your family, get some treats for your office, and enjoy the sights and smells of the market.

The DCFM outdoor markets are open every Saturday and every Wednesday from April 13 through November 16 – RAIN OR SHINE!

We will be at Breese Stevens Field on July 13, 2019 when they are displaced from the Capitol Square by the Art Fair

To stay up-to-date throughout the season, visit www.dcfm.org and sign up for the weekly e-newsletter or check out Super Fresh!

The award-winning Dane County Farmers' Market has been a Madison tradition since 1972. With approximately 270 members, including 10 new members for the 2019 season, the DCFM provides the best of each season's bounty. As the nation's largest producer-only farmers' market, everything for sale at the Market has been grown, raised, and made by the member behind the stand. There is no resale permitted.
