The pulse of downtown Madison returns with the Madison Night Market on June 11, from 5-9 p.m. Taking over N. Carroll and W. Mifflin Streets on Capitol Square, State Street and Gilman Street, this year’s series promises a bigger, bolder celebration of the city’s urban culture. The Madison Night Market brings together iconic brick-and-mortar storefronts and the region's top makers, from State Street retailers to visiting food carts, pop-up restaurants and live music – it’s a one-of-a-kind urban street festival.

Celebrating Madison’s LGBTQ+ Culture
The month of June is Pride Month, and Madison’s Central Business Improvement District (BID) is excited to celebrate their incredible contributions to our downtown community. Unique cultural programming will include:

7:30 – 8:30: Downtown Pride Drag Show By Bianca Lynn Breeze Productions
Celebrate Pride at the Madison Night Market with an electrifying drag showcase produced by Bianca Lynn Breeze Productions! Hosted by Miss Gay Wisconsin USofA 2026, Victoria Lynn, this high-energy show features an incredible lineup including former Miss Gay Madison Plus 2025 Wynter Da Bratt Sodi, Club Wisconsin Newcomer 2026 Angel Voyer, and Mr. Gay Madison 2025 Buda L Infiniti Ross. Get ready for a night of dazzling performances, fierce talent, and unapologetic Pride celebration in the heart of downtown Madison!

Family Activity Zone
Fun for the whole family! Where State Street meets Capitol Square, you'll find the Madison Night Market Family Activity Zone, filled with a rotating slate of family-friendly activities to keep kids (and their grown-ups!) creative, active and having fun with community partners. The May 14 market will feature:

  • MADabolic Madison - Exercise challenges for all ages and ability levels.
  • MSCR - The Art Cart is a free, traveling art program that provides creative, outdoor art-making experiences to children ages 3+ and their families. Activities include both group and individual projects, with a variety of materials.
  • Witte Kitte Face Painting - High-energy, kid-friendly face painting.

Madison Circus Entertainment is a local circus troupe bringing interactive, high-energy performance to the Night Market. Featuring stilt walkers, jugglers, and flow artists, they create engaging, photo-worthy moments throughout the event. You won’t want to miss this lively mix of circus skill, movement, and playful energy for all ages!
