Program Overview
The BID Downtown Madison Map and Guide is a detailed walking map of the central downtown district with listings and locations for more than 350 businesses, cultural organizations and visitor destinations, plus parking and transit information. Funded by the BID through advertising revenues, this map is a favorite resource for residents, visitors and businesses.

Each year upwards of 150,000 maps are distributed in Madison, Wisconsin, and internationally. Maps are requested by hotels, businesses, and area residents for conferences, international study programs, family weddings, new employee welcome programs, and special events. Maps are available at the BID offices, Downtown Ambassador Booths, Madison hotels, area businesses and organizations, the UW-Madison Campus Information and Visitor Center, and via the BID New Resident Packet program. On average, 6,000 maps per month are given out at the Ambassador Booths.
